Have any Question?

The British School of Kampala would like to remind parents and guardians that the school will be closed on Wednesday, 3rd June 2026 in observance of Uganda Martyrs Day, a national public holiday in Uganda.

Honouring a significant national occasion

Martyrs Day is an important day of remembrance and reflection, commemorating the faith, courage, and sacrifice of the Uganda Martyrs. The occasion brings together people from across the country and beyond to honour a significant chapter in Uganda’s history.

School reopening

Classes will resume as normal on Thursday, 4th June 2026, and all learners are expected to attend school on that day.

A time for reflection

As we observe this national holiday, we encourage our learners and families to take the opportunity to reflect on the values of courage, commitment, and service that continue to inspire communities today.

We wish all members of our school community a peaceful and meaningful Martyrs Day.

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
